She is an actor, singer and musical theater actor. Mitchell was a student at Rockridge Secondary School before moving onto West Vancouver Secondary. At the end of her teenage years she was modeling for various companies throughout the world. She travelled across the globe to Barcelona, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, ultimately returning home in Toronto as she continued her studies in acting.
